This is a hand-embroidered by a master of handicraft  table runner that is decorated with 3 flower bouquets in the middle part. It is finished off with a delicate hem stitch. An embroiderer did her needle work pattern with white thread against natural-colour linen background thanks to which the embroidery is more clearly visible. The Maków region embroidery is one of the most elegant needle-work patterns, characterized by classical beauty, simplicity and subtlety. It is highly appreciated due to its unique elegance.

We highly recommend this table runner also for a wedding present. Upon your request we will enclose an occasional card from our collection of hand-made postcards and we will write whishes.

The cradle of the Maków embroidery is Silesian Beskids, and in particular, the neighbourhood of Maków Podhalański. That is where the name of this embroidery pattern originates from. The Maków embroidery patterns appear to be the most elegant patterns characterized by classical beauty, simplicity and extraordinary subtlety. It is traditionally made with white thread (embroidery floss) on white linen, Therefore it is classified as white embroidery. However, some compositions have different linen or thread colour for the sake of variety.
The Maków embroidery is a flat pattern with perforated elements. There is no play on colours that is so typical of other regional embroidery patterns. Therefore the form is especially well-elaborated. This embroidery pattern is especially recognized for its unique elegance.
