A lamb figurine hand-weaved from hay. It was manufactured with application of nowhere else found technique of creating hay ropes and their appropriate sewing.
Special attention should be drawn to a very elaborate weaving and bending of antlers. The figurine stands on wooden legs.
The presented lamb can pose not only a beautiful Easter adornment, but also can be an original all-year interior and winter garden decoration giving a pleasant hay scent.
We particularly recommend this kind of handicraft as an original souvenir from Poland, a present for a foreigner or just as an idea for an unique gift for any other occasion.
Hay weaving is an unique technique. It gives unlimited possibilities in creating different forms: from small Christmas balls, bells, a few centimeters- high angels, through pots, bowls to natural size human or animal figurines. Handicraft created with application of this technique is characterized by extraordinary durability.
Mr. Andrzej has a special fondness for weaving techniques. He has started his weaving adventure with wattle in simple, household items to pass to more sophisticated garden designs and hedges. His essential works have concentrated since then on hay weaving. Mr. Andrzej has created his own technique of hay rope manufacturing and bending. Mr. Andrzej’s designs have already been presented in France, Germany and Czech Republic.
