Picture from the fabrics, hand-made in the application technique. Presents a bouquet of multicolored flowers. It refers to floral motifs used in the art of decorating houses, among others. in the well-known "painted village" - Zalipie. An interesting artistic effect was obtained by combining materials of different texture.
The framing consists of two frames joined together. Inside the matt frame is 1 cm wide, in olive color with a thin gold strip. The outside of the frame is black, matt, 4 cm wide. The front pane protects the fabric from dirt.
The pictures presented here are made with application technology. It consists in sewing on motifs cut from another material. The artist tries to make her work not to be classical. He likes to innovate. Therefore, some items are stuck or partially sewn, eg the center of the flower is sewn and the petals remain loose. This allows you to create an impression of spatiality. She likes to use fabrics of different patterns, thickness and structure to show depth and contrast. She particularly liked suede fabrics - primarily corduroy - which give the images a warm velvety tone.
Mrs Lilianna comes from a family where the passion for sewing and handmade is rooted for generations. Her grandmother in the postwar period was reportedly wearing the most beautiful dresses in the area, made by her mother. Mrs Lilianny's sewing passion deepened with the new possibilities that made the appearance of better and better fabrics on the market. Thanks to her mother Mrs. Lilianna graduated from the clothing school. Soon, however, the design, modeling and sewing of skirts or jackets ceased to suffice. She wanted to try something different with more artistic nature. First she began to adorn the colorful apparel of her little daughter then to be unique. Then she tried to create something for the home decor - added charms gadgets and accessories changing the character of the apartment. Then came the collection of her paintings, made of pieces of cloth.
