A Belarussian post card ‘a little sunshine (soniejka)’

A hand-made card adorned with a traditional Belarussian paper-cutting. The central element of the card is a smiling sunshine. The rays springing out from the middle of the paper-cutting have taken a form grain ears at the ends - so typical of Belarussian paper-cutting. The cutting precision deserves a closer look. All elements are extremely finely cut out and they fill he centre of the cutting with great precision. The effect is complemented by an interesting well-matched colour scheme, which allows to bring out the beautiful features of the pattern. We recommend it as an Easter, Feast-day or Birthday card. . It can also be an interesting supplement to a present.
